The Role
As a Strategic Sourcing Analyst supporting the European markets based, you will play a vital role in the execution of day-to-day procurement operations across a diverse range of indirect categories including IT, professional services, marketing, HR, facilities, and more. Working under the guidance of the Head of Procurement Lead for Europe, you will assist with purchasing coordination, supplier communications, data analysis, process improvement, and internal DRI support, ensuring procurement processes run efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with business priorities across the region. You Will
- Support the creation, review, and tracking of purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Liaise with internal requesters to clarify purchasing needs, obtain vendor quotes, and confirm order fulfilment.
- Collaborate with teams globally, including Finance, Legal, Technology, and Office Operations, to support sourcing and purchasing needs.
- Act as a first-line contact for internal DRIs on procurement queries related to process, policy, or order status.
- Help maintain accurate supplier records, pricing files, and documentation in procurement systems.
- Assist with supplier onboarding processes and compliance documentation collection.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activity, supplier performance, and cost trends.
- Assist with spend analysis, data gathering for category reviews, and ad hoc reporting as requested.
- Support the development of procurement KPIs and dashboards used for performance monitoring.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of standard operating procedures, documentation, and training materials.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose ideas for efficiency gains or automation.
You Have
- 1β3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related administrative role, ideally in a multinational or financial services organisation
- Understanding of core procurement processes, including P2P, supplier interaction, and purchase order lifecycle
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Oracle, DocuSign)
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple requests
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); additional European languages a plus
- Proactive, collaborative, and willing to take ownership of tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to procurement across multiple indirect categories (e.g., IT, services, facilities)
- Awareness of European regulatory requirements and data privacy considerations (e.g., GDPR)
- Interest in developing a long-term career in procurement or sourcing
