Overview of the Role
An established property management company is seeking a Property Manager to join their team. The role will involve managing a portfolio of approximately 1,400 residential units across Surrey and South London, providing support across all areas of leasehold and block property management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Property Manager and be responsible for delivering a high level of service to leaseholders, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing LPE1 forms upon request from leaseholders and solicitors
- Managing bespoke enquiries relating to property sales
- Handling post-sale paperwork and processes
- Liaising with solicitors regarding leasehold matters, including lease extensions
- Managing major works projects and Section 20 consultation processes
- Responding to telephone enquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Assisting with service charge queries, leak investigations, and insurance claims
- Managing complaints in line with company procedures
- Supporting the implementation of fire, health and safety recommendations
- Assisting with Annual General Meetings (AGMs)
- Liaising with contractors and obtaining quotations
- Assisting with invoice processing in line with company procedures
- Working alongside the Senior Property Manager and providing office support when required
Person Specification
- Previous experience working within residential block management
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently and take a proactive approach
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team
