Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Property Manager to join a well-established property management company.

The successful candidate will support the management of a residential portfolio of approximately

1,400 units across Surrey and South London , assisting with a wide range of property management responsibilities and working closely with the Senior Property Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assisting with customer enquiries, leak investigations, and insurance claims.
  • Supporting the preparation and understanding of legal management packs.
  • Assisting with Fire, Health & Safety, and compliance recommendations.
  • Supporting with Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
  • Preparing and issuing service charge year-end accounting packs and Section 20 notices.
  • Liaising with contractors and obtaining quotations for works.
  • Assisting with invoice processing in line with company procedures.
  • Providing support to the Senior Property Manager and covering office requirements when required.
  • Assisting with the general day-to-day management of residential properties.

Person Specification

  • Previous experience working within the property sector. (lettings or block)
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently while taking a proactive approach.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team within an office environment.
