The opportunity:
We’re partnered with a fast-growing financial services scale-up, fresh from closing its Series A, to hire their first dedicated Talent & People Lead. With new investment secured and ambitious growth plans ahead, they’re looking for someone to build their people function from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you’ll own the full employee journey, from hiring and onboarding through to performance and development, and create the processes and culture needed to support a high-performing, international team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading hiring across all functions and building a scalable recruitment process
- Designing onboarding, performance reviews and progression frameworks
- Managing HR systems, policies and day-to-day people operations
- Championing company culture, engagement and retention
- Advising leadership on team structure, performance and organisational design
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years in Talent and People
- Must have worked within a start-up or scale-up (Series A / B)
- Building and owning the recruitment and people function from scratch
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law - a CIPD qualification would be a bonus!
- A strong communicator who can influence at every level across the organisation
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach, equally happy shaping strategy and delivering it
- Someone who thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment
