We are currently partnering with a technology-focused financial services organisation as they continue to invest heavily in their end-user computing and workplace infrastructure environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally collaborative engineering team, working at the intersection of modern workplace technologies, virtualisation, and automation.
The Role:
You’ll play a key role in the design, delivery, and optimisation of enterprise workplace environments, supporting a large-scale, business-critical infrastructure. Working closely with infrastructure teams and stakeholders, you’ll contribute to both BAU stability and forward-looking transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineer and support modern Windows workplace environments (Windows 10/11 & Windows Server estate)
- Manage and enhance virtual desktop solutions (Citrix CVAD ecosystem)
- Provide 3rd line support across complex user environment and provisioning challenges
- Maintain and optimise thin-client environments (IGEL or equivalent)
- Drive automation & standardisation across the digital workplace using PowerShell
- Collaborate with global teams on infrastructure and transformation projects
What They’re Looking For
- Strong experience across Microsoft workplace technologies (Windows, M365, Server environments)
- Proven expertise with Citrix (CVAD, Gateway, Provisioning Services)
- Experience with endpoint management & deployment tools (e.g. Intune, Ivanti, or similar)
- Solid scripting capability with PowerShell
- Understanding of virtualisation and modern EUC environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, international setup
