A leading financial institution is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes to join its growing team. This role sits within the Infrastructure and Platform Engineering department, supporting business-critical applications and services across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a highly available Kubernetes platform, enabling internal teams to deploy and manage containerised applications effectively.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines and improve platform resilience and scalability.
- Implement best practices for observability, monitoring, and alerting, ensuring system performance and reliability.
- Support and automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform, including upgrades, architecture improvements, and technology selection.
- Ensure the security and compliance of the Kubernetes environment, including access controls, patching, and policy management.
Key Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in a production environment.
- UNIX / Linux (Ubuntu & Red Hat)
