The RoleAs a Business Development Representative, you\’ll be on the front line of Clearpay\’s UK growth. You\’ll engage directly with SMB and mid-market retailers, helping them understand how Buy Now, Pay Later can drive conversion, increase basket size, and unlock new customers.

This is a high-impact, entry-point role designed to accelerate your sales career. We\’ve built the BDR function with clear progression in mind, supporting moves into closing roles, leadership, or specialist paths as the team and business continue to grow.

This role offers hybrid working, with 1–2 days per week in the London office

You Will

Proactively prospect and cold-call into targeted UK retail accounts

Research prospective merchants using web, social, and sales tools

Qualify opportunities and book meetings for Account Executives

Partner with Account Executives to build high-quality pipeline

Clearly communicate the Clearpay value proposition over the phone

Document activity and insights in our CRM

Share ideas and best practices to help the team win more

You have

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Tenacity, resilience, and a strong work ethic

Experience with cold calling or outbound sales (preferred)

A clear desire to build a career in sales
