We're recruiting for a FS Product Engineer role for a FinTech providing home lending options. Backed by leading VC and private equity investors, having raised over £35m in funding, ranked the 5th fastest growing fintech in the UK and Ireland in 2025, we have already deployed hundreds of millions in property finance, supporting people in achieving their financial goals. Building the financial institution that opens doors for communities that traditional finance has left behind. Starting with home finance, trusted by thousands, and growing fast, we are now expanding the platform and want a senior engineer who can help us get there faster.

This is a high-impact IC role reporting directly to our CEO. You'll own features end-to-end and be our internal expert on using AI and automation to raise both delivery speed and code quality. Not a management role, but one with real influence across the organisation.

What you'll do:

  • Champion AI-assisted development tools with a clear-eyed view of where they help and where they introduce risk.
  • Identify bottlenecks in delivery and implement automation that makes the whole team faster.
  • Set and uphold engineering standards: code quality, testing, CI/CD, architecture.
  • Partner closely with Product to challenge and sharpen requirements before they hit the backlog.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and Java/Kotlin - NestJS, React, PostgreSQL or MongoDB (not all required).
  • Hands-on with AWS, Docker, Terraform, and modern CI/CD.
  • A genuine, practical understanding of AI coding tools and their limits.
  • Experience in regulated or fintech environments is a bonus, not a barrier.

If this sounds of interest, get in contact.
