Job Title: Multimedia Designer (In-House Production)
Reports to: Head of Marketing
The role reports formally to the Head of Marketing, with day-to-day creative briefs and direction provided by the Creative Lead.
Working with: All areas of the business
Hours of Work: 37.5 per week Monday – Friday
Location: Magherafelt with hybrid working available; on-site attendance required for filming, shoots and equipment access.

Based at our HQ in Magherafelt, this is an exciting opportunity for a talented Multimedia Designer to help shape how our brand is seen, felt and experienced across every customer touchpoint.Working predominantly on BlocOut, you’ll create compelling visual content that brings our products and purpose to life, turning creative ideas into engaging campaigns, digital experiences and storytelling that inspires better sleep for all our customers.
Core Responsibilities
Filming & Content Capture
- Shoot in-house product and lifestyle footage on brief (e.g. body/demo footage, talent-led content, product-in-use scenes).
- Coordinate simple in-house shoots at the production facility, including basic lighting/set-up
- Capture supplementary footage that can be reused/repurposed across multiple ad concepts (e.g. new hooks cut against existing body footage)
Video & Ad Editing
- Edit Meta ad creative to brief, hook variants, multiple aspect ratios, persona-specific cuts.
- Turn scripts and shot lists into finished ads matching approved concepts (UGC-style, pattern-interrupt, testimonial, stat-led formats, etc.)
- Manage version control across multiple concurrent ad concepts and hook tests.
Design & Static Asset Production
- Build static and carousel assets for organic social (Instagram/Facebook) in line with brand format guidelines.
- Support FOOH concept visualisation (e.g. mock-ups for projection mapping, subway takeovers, CGI hybrid concepts) ahead of handoff to external production partners.
- Image editing and retouching (Canva/Figma) for ad creative and campaign assets.
- Support the wider Group with static design and production work as required, including print, outdoor advertising, sales/trade material, product photography, brochures, catalogues, packaging, banners, exhibitions, e-commerce assets and point-of-sale
Production Support & Coordination
- Maintain an organised asset library so finished and raw content is easy to find and reuse.
- Turn around edits quickly against campaign deadlines, working from the Creative Lead’s
Required Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Third-level qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience filming and editing short-form social/ad video (portfolio required)
- Proficiency with video editing software and design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects, as well as tools such as CapCut, Figma and Canva.
- Comfortable with fast working across multiple concurrent projects with tight turnarounds
- Basic understanding of what performs on Meta (hook structures, pacing, native/UGC-style aesthetics)—this role executes to spec but should understand why the spec looks the way it does
- Good eye for composition, lighting, and pacing without needing a full production crew
- Experience using AI creative tools (e.g. Midjourney, Runway, Adobe Firefly, CapCut AI) as part of your craft — to push ideas further and work faster, not as a shortcut for quality — while maintaining a strong human-led creative vision
Desirable
- Experience with motion graphics/basic CGI or compositing (After Effects or similar).
- Experience working with UGC creators or managing external freelance contributors.
- Interest or experience in experiential/FOOH-style content.
Success Looks Like
- Ad concepts move from script/shot list to finished, ASA-compliant creative on schedule, with appropriate attention to advertising claims, approvals and brand guidelines.
- Existing footage is reused efficiently rather than reshot from scratch
- The Creative Lead can hand off a brief and trust it will come back production-ready, freeing them to focus on strategy and agency management.
