Please note this will be a full-time in office role. We’re looking for a talented 3D Generalist to join our growing team. You’ll work in a dynamic team producing high-quality visualisations supporting each project stage, from pre-vis to production, all the way to post-processing. You will be working closely with the Creative Director to determine the best approaches to troubleshoot problems and ensure the final look is aligned with the clients’ brief. Our projects include marketing animations, product marketing material and property walkthroughs. Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of projects on-time, within scope and budget.
- Support the production of high-quality photorealistic renders including scene assembly, look development, composition and camera animation, lighting and rendering as well as compositing.
- Support the creation and maintenance of best practice documentation.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure visual consistency and meet project deadlines.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimising workflows.
- Complete tasks within the allocated time.
- Ability to learn and implement new tools and techniques.
- Consistently follow team’s processes and procedures.
- Be precise and thorough in all aspects of work.
Skills and requirements
- Strong knowledge and understanding of 3DS Max and/or Unreal.
- A good understanding of lighting principles and scene composition.
- Able to use various render elements (AOVs) for compositing in Adobe After Effects or Nuke.
- Strong communication skills and being able to work independently or within a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to manage priorities between multiple tasks.
- Good understanding of the Adobe Suite.
- Strong artistic sense and creativity.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Substance Painter.
- Experience working within a similar environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (and Office 365).
- Experience in using Cinema 4D.
- Simulations software experience.
