Job Summary

You will be hands-on with cutting-edge robotics, conveyors, and precision equipment, working in a modern, automated facility in excellent working conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute improvements that enhance efficiency, improve product reliability and implement process improvements.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with robotics, conveyors, machinery and automated equipment.
- Fully support daily production runs, assisting with stoppages and line recovery.
- Organise and perform installation and repairs.
- Work closely with internal and external partners building strong relationships.
- Ensure long term sustainability of equipment and processes.
- Deliver high-quality service and support with a strong customer focus.
- Keep work areas, tools, and machinery exceptionally tidy, safe, and well-maintained.
- Utilise technical expertise to diagnose and resolve issues with electromechanical and automated systems.
- Conduct strict routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, installations, and inventory.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Follow all safety protocols rigorously, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and others.
- Be available for occasional weekend callouts, and flexible working hours as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Automation Maintenance Technician or Mechanical Fitter within a high-speed production/manufacturing environment.
- Third level qualification in mechanical/electrical or similar technical field.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and assembly processes with a hands-on, detail-focused approach.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining robotics, conveyors, and machinery with tight tolerances.
- The ability to develop and implement control strategies to improve machine performance, uptime, and product quality.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a genuine pride in keeping the factory clean, safe, and efficient.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Solid understanding of electrical safety procedures, mechanical procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensuring all QSE policies are always adhered to and followed at all times.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset.
Desirable
- Ability to identify root causes related to controls, electrical systems, and automation hardware (e.g., sensors, drives, robotics), solve problems efficiently, and prevent reoccurrence.
- Experience with data analytics to support continuous improvement.
- Knowledge or experience of automation or robotics in a high-speed production/manufacturing environment.
Physical Capabilities
Physically capable of performing job duties, including standing, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to and above 25lb.
