Bloc Blinds are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team for Maternity Cover.
What we'll ask of you:
- Process AR invoices and maintenance of all aspects of the sales ledger.
- Credit control duties to include all communication with customers.
- Process payment receipts and ensure accurate allocation on the ledger.
- Liaise with the sales and customer service teams.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Assist in the month-end closing process.
- Prepare monthly reports and commentary on accounts receivable.
- Assist with the statutory audit as required.
- Ad hoc duties as required to support the business.
What we are looking for:
- Essential: Minimum 18 months experience in a finance role (to include sales ledger).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Desirable: Sage 50/Sage 200 experience.
