BLM Building Supplies is a busy, customer-focused builders merchant supplying quality materials to trade and domestic customers. We are looking for an experienced and professional Class 2 HGV Driver with a valid HIAB licence to join our team.
The Role
As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of building materials to customers across the local area. Operating a HIAB crane will form a core part of your daily duties, so confidence and competence with remote crane operation is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver building materials to trade and retail customers
- Safely operate HIAB crane for offloading deliveries
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure loads are secure and compliant with regulations
- Obtain proof of delivery and maintain accurate paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery sites
- Support yard operations when required
Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid HIAB licence (remote) essential
- Experience delivering building materials or similar heavy products
- Good understanding of health
