We are urgently recruiting for 4 x Band 5 Community Nurses on behalf of an NHS client based in Shropshire, 2 positions based in Telford and 2 positions based in Shrewsbury. This is a block booking opportunity with a duration of 3–12 months, offering consistent, well‑paid community nursing work across a 7‑day rota.
Shift Pattern:
- 7‑day rota — 0800 to 1800
- Flexible working: 3 or 4 long days OR 5 shorter days (0800–1600 / 0830–1630 / 1000–1800)
- Mileage reimbursed at £0.45 per mile
Clinical Skills Required:
- Complex wound care including Doppler compression
- Simple wound care
- End of life care
- Medication administration
- Catheterisation — male, female and suprapubic
- Insulin administration
You must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration and have Band 5 level community nursing experience — essential. You must also have your own car and full UK driving licence — non‑negotiable. Ability to work a 7‑day rota including weekends is required.
