We are urgently recruiting for 4 x Band 5 Community Nurses on behalf of an NHS client based in Shropshire — 2 positions based in Telford and 2 positions based in Shrewsbury. This is a block booking opportunity with a duration of 3–12 months, offering consistent, well-paid community nursing work across a 7-day rota.

Shift Pattern

  • 7-day rota — 0800 to 1800
  • Flexible working: 3 or 4 long days OR 5 shorter days (0800–1600 / 0830–1630 / 1000–1800)
  • Mileage reimbursed at £0.45 per mile

Clinical Skills Required

You must be able to evidence competency in ALL of the following:

  • Complex wound care including Doppler compression
  • Simple wound care
  • End of life care
  • Medication administration
  • Catheterisation — male, female and suprapubic
  • Bowel care
  • Syringe driver management
  • Insulin administration
  • Doppler assessment
  • Compression bandaging

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration
  • Band 5 level community nursing experience — essential
  • Own car and full UK driving licence — non-negotiable
  • Ability to work a 7-day rota including weekends
  • Available for block booking
