Blissful Healthcare is currently recruiting an experienced Band 6 Adult Social Worker for an exciting opportunity with an NHS Trust based in Bedford.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews.
- Assess adults with complex health and social care needs.
- Develop and review care and support plans.
- Arrange and commission appropriate health and social care services.
- Complete safeguarding and risk assessments to ensure service users remain safe.
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and local authority colleagues.
- Participate in supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience within Adult Social Care.
- Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and safeguarding legislation.
- Excellent assessment, communication and case management skills.
Desirable
- Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification or willingness to undertake AMHP training.
- Previous NHS or Local Authority experience.
