We are an expanding Essex-based renewables company looking for elite, self-contained sub-contract teams to execute high-quality Air Source Heat Pump installations. We exclusively install Vaillant aroTHERM and Ideal Logic Air systems. We take the headache out of the job: we supply the leads, complete the technical surveys, deliver the kit, and handle all MCS and DNO paperwork. You simply turn up, complete a neat install, and get paid fast. We do not use vague day rates. We offer a highly competitive, transparent fixed-price model that rewards efficiency.
The Pay Structure (£1,850 Minimum Per Install)
- This role is priced for a two-person team. If you work efficiently and complete a 3-day job in 2 days, your team still receives the full fixed price.
- Total Team Payout: £1,850 minimum per completed installation.
- Heating Engineer: £1,500 minimum (Calculated at £500/day, min. 3 days).
- Electrician: £350 fixed rate per job for wiring, testing, and sign-off.
How It Works (The Day-to-Day)
- Zero Guesswork: You will receive a fully mapped heat loss survey and clear pipework schematic prior to arriving on site.
- Logistics Handled: We deliver the main heat pump units and cylinders directly to the site.
- The Install: Your team handles the fit-out, the gas cap-off (if required), and the electrical sign-off.
- The Cleanup: You load the site waste into your van and drop it back at our yard (Edmundson Electrical, Southend-on-Sea) upon completion.
- Fast Payment: Invoices are paid promptly upon successful completion and sign-off.
Team Requirements
- We are looking for established teams (or individuals who regularly partner up) who hold the following across the team:
- Heating: NVQ Level 3 Plumbing/Heating, G3 Unvented, Water Regs.
- Gas: Gas Safe registered (required for capping off existing boiler supplies).
- Electrical: Fully qualified Electrician (18th Edition / Part P for electrical sign-off).
- Experience: Proven, high-quality experience installing Vaillant and/or Ideal heat pumps.
- Logistics: Own van(s), tools, and valid Public Liability Insurance.
- Must be based within a realistic driving distance of Southend-on-Sea for the waste drop-off.
