About Blink Twice
Blink Twice is a London-based branding studio helping ambitious startups unlock their story and unleash it into bold, strategic design. We also run Jack of Brands, a growing platform sharing insights on creativity, branding, and entrepreneurship.
About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media and Content Manager to join as part of the founding team, managing and editing content for both @jackofbrands and @blinktwice.studio. You will help build the rhythm and voice of two growing brands: one personal, one studio. This is a hands‑on creative role that mixes editing, storytelling, and strategy. It suits someone who lives and breathes short‑form video, branding, and digital culture. This role starts as a freelance retainer (3 days per week) for 12 months, with the goal of evolving into a full‑time Head of Content position as the studio expands.
Responsibilities
- Edit and deliver 7 reels and 7 carousels weekly for @jackofbrands (templates provided)
- Manage 1 daily post for @blinktwice.studio (reels, carousels, and stories)
- Create clean, engaging edits with strong pacing, captions, and on‑brand typography
- Repurpose scripts and footage into finished social content
- Schedule posts, track performance, and provide monthly reports
- Research trends, hooks, and cultural moments relevant to branding and founders
- Brainstorm and develop new content ideas with our Creative Director Jack
Requirements
- Skilled in video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Descript, or Runway)
- Strong sense of design/layout for carousels and titles
- Understanding of social algorithms, engagement, and analytics
- Passion for branding, design, and entrepreneurship culture
- Bonus: Understanding of paid growth or storytelling frameworks
- Organised, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented
Paid Trial
For shortlisted applicants, there will be a paid trial project (£40). We will send a short script and unedited video. Your task will be to create one reel that matches the style of @jackofbrands.
Application Questions
- What brand or creator’s social content do you think works brilliantly, and why?
- What is your process for turning a raw talking‑head video into a finished reel?
- Which editing or automation tools do you use most often?
- How would you describe the difference between @jackofbrands and @blinktwice.studio?
Cover Letter
In a short cover letter (max 300 words), tell us:
- Why you are excited to help build Blink Twice and Jack of Brands in their first year?
- What makes you tick creatively and how your skills can shape our content engine?
Please send this to hello@blinktwice.studio. We will set up an interview with selected candidates.
