About the role
The Partnerships Manager sits within our commercial pods and is key to bringing Blink’s payment solutions and APIs to a broader market to deliver commercial success. Working within the revenue team, this role is responsible for identifying and closing new partnership opportunities predominantly with ISVs in selected industry verticals in order to drive referral leads from merchants. This role requires a confident and commercially driven self-starter to win new relationships with independent software vendors and support them on their journey through integration and activation of the payment capability to their Merchant base.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and build a pipeline of strategic partnerships with ISVs and other ecosystem providers to establish long term, commercially successful relationships within selected verticals.
- Research and analyse the software management market to present the total market opportunity.
- Prospecting and outreach to independent software vendors to generate new opportunities.
- Meet or exceed targets via sales generated with and through ISV Partners.
- Provide expertise in discussions with ISVs on best co-product development and co-marketing initiatives to bring joint solutions to market fast.
- Collaborate with internal and external product, marketing, sales and finance teams.
- Attend market events and build a wide network across software, payments and financial services.
Key Skills/Experience
- Similar experience in a technical partnerships role.
- Proven experience in building partnerships with ISVs.
- Energetic, ambitious and active individual who is comfortable working independently and with a team.
- Self-motivated and action driven, ready to drive their own opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact and influence decision makers.
- Intuitive and with an interest in software and or the FinTech sector.
- Strong problem solver that can quickly create and present alternative solutions.
