Developer Experience
At Blink, our Developer Experience team has one focus: empowering builders everywhere. We believe that the ability to create software should be accessible to anyone with a great idea, not just those who can code. Our mission is to provide every developer and founder on the planet with the most seamless experience for building AI-powered applications.
We create inspiring demos, educational content, and sample projects that show what\’s possible when you remove the technical barriers to building software. We work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure that every developer\’s journey—from their first conversation with our AI to deploying a production app—is delightful and effective.
About Blink
Blink is an AI app creation platform. Anyone can build websites, SaaS products, and mobile apps by chatting with AI. We handle the database, hosting, APIs, and deployment automatically. No coding required.
The Role
As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will create technical content, tools, and sample applications that inspire developers and enable them to succeed with Blink. You\’ll engage directly with builders and founders, demonstrating best practices and showcasing innovative applications built through AI-powered development.
You\’ll be the bridge between our product and our community. Your work will shape how millions of people learn to build software in the AI era. You\’ll create tutorials, run live sessions, build sample projects, and foster a vibrant community of builders around our platform.
In this role, you will:
- Create high-quality technical content including YouTube tutorials, short-form videos, and code samples that educate and inspire our developer community
- Build sample applications and demos that showcase what\’s possible with AI-powered app development
- Engage with and grow our developer community across social media platforms and Discord
- Host live webinars and Q&A sessions where you teach developers and answer their technical questions
- Represent Blink at developer events and online as a trusted resource and advocate for builders
- Gather feedback from developers and work with our product team to improve the platform based on real user needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and marketing teams to drive adoption and ensure developer success
- Own challenges end-to-end, proactively identifying gaps in our documentation, tools, or content and solving them
You might thrive in this role if you:
- You have a YouTube channel or video presence and love creating content that teaches people how to build
- You can code in React and Next.js and explain technical concepts clearly and compellingly on camera
- You have exceptional communication skills and speak clear, engaging English that makes complex topics accessible
- You care deeply about design and can create compelling thumbnails, graphics, and visual content
- You find genuine joy in teaching and get energy from helping others succeed with their projects
- You have strong grammar and writing skills and can produce polished, professional content
- You\’ve built applications before and understand the challenges that developers and founders face
- You\’re comfortable using AI coding tools like Cursor or Windsurf and understand how they\’re changing development
- You\’re already active in developer communities and know how to engage authentically with builders
- You have a can-do mindset and approach problems with creativity rather than focusing on constraints
- You believe that making software development accessible to everyone is important and meaningful work
Why Blink
We\’re working on one of the most exciting problems in technology right now. AI-powered app development is transforming who can build software and what\’s possible to create. Non-technical founders are building production-ready SaaS products from simple conversations. The barrier between ideas and execution is disappearing.
You\’ll shape how an entire generation learns to build. Your tutorials will inspire someone\’s first SaaS launch. Your demos will show what\’s possible when AI handles the technical complexity. You\’ll have creative freedom, real ownership, and the opportunity to make an impact at scale.
You\’ll work directly with our founder and a small, talented team backed by Y Combinator that ships fast and thinks big. You\’ll have unlimited access to AI coding tools and be at the forefront of how AI changes software development.
Interview Process
We\’ll start with an initial conversation to learn about your background and interests. Then you\’ll complete a short project that lets you showcase your content creation and technical skills.
We move quickly and aim to make decisions within a week.
