Blink Brow Bar are looking for a confident, creative and organised Junior Art Director to lead the visual identity of the brand. Working within a small marketing team, you will make a real difference. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with creative contacts (photographers, videographers) as well as internal NPD and retail teams, acting as the brand guardian, ensuring consistency at every touchpoint across digital and in-store, while delivering impactful creative campaigns and assets to support marketing, ecommerce, PR and retail. You will also be full of ideas of how to get cut through for a beauty lifestyle brand and set the artistic vision for the brand. The ideal candidate will be culturally aware and have a keen eye and passion for creating editorial, premium design.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the brand guardian, ensuring Blink Brow Bar’s creative direction and guidelines are adhered to and kept updated.
- Ideate and execute creative campaigns, direct photoshoots, and lead the visual identity of the brand.
- Develop and manage website creative alongside Ecommerce Manager, including online content, website banners and PDP assets.
- Develop templates/assets for owned and paid social channels alongside Social Media Executive, including image/GIF’s/motion design.
- Design compelling retail assets alongside Retail Design Manager, including visual merchandising, in-store campaign imagery and promotional materials.
- Manage and update brand assets including brand presentations and brand videos.
- Manage ad hoc design requests.
- Create detailed artwork for new and existing product packaging, adhering to strict brand and compliancy guidelines.
- Work cross-functionally with photographers, videographers and other creative agencies/freelancers to ensure projects are briefed and executed within brand vision and delivered on-time.
- Source and build relationships with creative contacts suited to specific projects, drawing from your own contact book where appropriate.
- Confidently presenting creative ideas independently to wider marketing team and senior management.
Role Requirements:
- Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience at a creative agency, or in-house within the beauty, lifestyle or luxury sector.
- Degree educated, or relevant qualifications within the creative sector.
- London based.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality creative campaigns across digital and retail.
- Strong understanding and experience of the art direction process from ideation to development, briefing and execution.
- Commercially minded while maintaining our premium and editorial brand image.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Confident in ideating and executing both digital and print outputs.
- Confident communicator and strong presentation skills.
- Organised and able to work to deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Experience managing/assisting photoshoots.
- Experience video editing and/or motion graphic experience.
- Experience using AI software to support creative output a plus.
