Responsibilities
- Support individuals with sight loss to improve their skills with assistive technology.
- Help clients conduct job searches, prepare applications and perform other employment-related tasks.
- Assist clients in gaining, retaining, or progressing in employment.
- Collaborate with employers to promote reasonable adjustments and secure Access to Work support.
- Provide coaching to build clients’ confidence, independence and workplace skills.
Qualifications
- Empathetic, highly organized and motivated with experience supporting vulnerable or marginalised individuals.
- Knowledgeable in assistive technology application.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate others.
- Flexible, collaborative approach.
