About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in digital marketing within a values‑driven organization. You will support WGN’s online presence and campaigns, informing, engaging and mobilizing audiences—including survivors, professionals, funders and the wider public. Your work will help more women and girls access support quickly while contributing to awareness and advocacy to end violence against women and girls.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating and publishing survivor‑sensitive content across social media and web platforms.
- Designing graphics and short‑form video content (Canva, CapCut, Adobe).
- Supporting website updates and basic SEO to improve access to support services.
- Assisting with email campaigns and newsletters (Mailchimp).
- Contributing to digital campaigns and awareness activity, including key VAWG dates.
- Supporting marketing for WGN’s training programmes and partnerships.
- Monitoring engagement and using analytics (GA4, social insights) to inform improvements.
- Helping ensure online spaces remain safe, respectful and aligned with safeguarding practices.
About You
- Strong writing skills and ability to communicate clearly and sensitively.
- Interest in social media, digital marketing and storytelling.
- Basic experience with digital tools (Canva, social platforms) and willingness to learn.
- Good organization skills and ability to manage tasks and deadlines.
- Understanding of or strong interest in learning about violence against women and girls and survivor‑centred approaches.
- Commitment to inclusive, anti‑oppressive practice and WGN’s values.
