Hours: Part time – weekends and 2 weekdays

Blighty Café on Blackstock Rd is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic chef to join our friendly team. We specialise in serving delicious, high-quality brunch fare, and we\’re looking for a chef who can deliver a consistent, high standard of cooking while working independently in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of classic brunch dishes, including Full English, avocado toast, full breakfasts, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and more
• Manage multiple orders and tickets simultaneously, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of dishes
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and communication
• Menu creation and plating standards

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a chef or cook, particularly in a fast-paced café or brunch setting
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple orders at once
• Confidence in preparing a variety of dishes, with a strong attention to detail in both taste and presentation
• Health and Safety Level 2 (Level 3 preferred)
• Passion for delivering great food and creating a welcoming café experience
