About the role:
Blighter Surveillance Systems is looking to recruit a Project Engineer to help deliver and develop Blighter radar systems and projects.
Responsibilities of the role include;
- System-level design, architecture, and specification of systems and installations using Blighter Radars.
- Working with both our sales team and customers to establish and develop their requirements.
- Delivering customer demonstrations & training.
- Planning & overseeing radar test and development trials.
- Working with the support team to deliver completed solutions and systems.
- Supporting existing & future systems by working hands-on with Blighter radars as required.
The role is based at our main office but will sometimes require visits to supplier and customer locations both in the UK (4-5 times/year) and overseas (2-3 times/year).
The engineering team at Blighter is small and flexible. We are looking for someone capable of working on their own initiative, but who also appreciates the vital importance of collaborating and communicating effectively with other engineers and end users. In-depth knowledge of radars is not required training on Blighter radars and systems will be provided, with many opportunities for hands-on experience.
You will have the following skills and abilities:
- A demonstrable ability to design, develop, analyse, and think at a system level.
- Experience working with formal system requirements.
- An appreciation of multiple engineering disciplines. xgikmsk
