As the business is growing, we are looking for a Production Electronics Engineer to play a key role in the Production team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing a range of production support activities for our complex products. This is a challenging role requiring a breadth of knowledge and experience rather than a narrow specialism. The role will cover the following:
- Support for radar proving and qualification testing.
- High level support for radar fault finding to support test engineers.
- Electronics design of RF and high-speed analogue and digital circuits.
- Design and implementation of improvements to existing products.
- Interfacing between Engineering and Production teams on design and test through product lifecycle.
- Obsolescence management for existing products.
- Design of test equipment, jigs associated test software and procedures.
- Technical Production support for new designs.
- Produce and maintain manufacturing documentation.
- Using our PLM software to maintain product build standard, resolve issues, implement new designs.
- Provide ad-hoc support to engineering and sales staff with materials/manufacturing.
- Assist with improvements to our in-house production facilities and processes as needed.
- Manage new process/products into suppliers when needed.
