We are seeking a warm, experienced, and reliable nanny to provide full-time care for our 10-month-old baby. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, attentive, and confident in supporting an infant’s daily routine, development, and wellbeing in a safe and stimulating environment.

Driver Required

Daily Care

  • Provide attentive, loving care to a 10-month-old baby throughout the day
  • Manage feeding routines (bottles, weaning/solid foods as appropriate)
  • Produce food for mealtimes, including preparing food for our baby’s breakfast and evening meal in advance
  • Provide shopping lists of food required or procure food for baby’s meals
  • Change nappies and maintain good hygiene practices
  • Practice elimination communication – gently potty training with baby at least once a day
  • Follow and support established sleep routines and nap schedules
  • Dress baby appropriately for daily activities and keep the baby clean

Development & Stimulation

  • Engage the baby in age-appropriate play and developmental activities
  • Support physical, emotional, and cognitive development through interaction and play
  • Read books, sing songs, and encourage sensory exploration, including attending specific classes throughout the week nearby
  • Encourage baby to become independent through Montessori philosophy including showing and explaining household tasks

Safety & Wellbeing

  • Maintain a safe environment at all times
  • Monitor the baby’s health, mood, and developmental milestones
  • Administer basic care in line with parental instructions (e.g., teething comfort, temperature checks)
  • Communicate promptly with parents about any concerns

Household Duties (child-related)

  • Keep baby areas clean, tidy, and organised
  • Sterilise bottles and prepare feeding equipment
  • Wash and tidy baby clothes, toys, and feeding items
  • Maintain nursery/childcare space cleanliness
  • Pack baby items for occasional trips as required

Communication

  • Provide daily updates to parents on feeding, sleep, and activities
  • Work in partnership with parents to maintain consistency in routines

Requirements

  • Previous experience caring for infants (ideally under 1 year old)
  • Early Years or childcare qualification
  • Knowledge of baby care, sleep routines, and early development
  • First aid certification (paediatric preferred)
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Warm, patient, and engaging personality
  • DBS check (or willingness to obtain one, UK)
  • References preferred, not required
  • Language skills: Punjabi or Hindi speaker
