Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of workforce planning and resource allocation activities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Work closely with Resource Managers, engagement teams, and HR to ensure the right people are assigned to client projects, balancing availability, skills, and development opportunities.
- Coordinate resource allocation that aligns with business priorities, contributing to ongoing improvements and supporting a positive team culture.
- Manage day‐to‐day resourcing requests through workforce planning tools (e.g., Dayshape), ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates to reflect changing engagement needs.
- Coordinate resource allocation with the Resourcing Manager in line with client requirements, staff availability, and business priorities.
- Maintain up-to-date records of team capacity, bookings, and availability, helping to identify scheduling conflicts, utilisation gaps, or upcoming resourcing pressures.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on utilisation, availability, and resourcing trends to support operational planning.
- Liaise with Human Capital and recruitment teams to track employee movements, secondments, and visa requirements, ensuring relevant systems are updated accordingly.
- Provide administrative support for resourcing processes, including scheduling meetings, maintaining tracking documents, and updating team dashboards.
- Respond to resourcing queries from staff and engagement teams, escalating more complex issues to the Resourcing Manager as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in resource coordination, workforce planning, recruitment administration, or people operations – ideally within professional services or a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach to working with stakeholders, including managers and team leads, with confidence to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels.
- The ability to stay organised and focused under pressure, managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities during busy periods.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and build positive working relationships across teams.
- Good analytical and problem‐solving skills, with an understanding of key resourcing metrics and familiarity with tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- A proactive and enthusiastic mindset, with an interest in learning, supporting others, and contributing to continuous improvement within the team.
