About the role
As a Credit Controller, you will take ownership of a portfolio of Partners and their debtor ledgers, ensuring effective cash collection and resolution of aged debt. You will play a key role in the firm’s credit control function, including:
- Proactively managing cash collection and debtor ledgers.
- Resolving payment-related issues and reducing aged debt.
- Following up on all aspects of legal action where required.
- Supporting integration of future acquisitions into the credit control function.
- Contributing to the continuous development of credit control processes and systems.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking someone who is proactive and has strong attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a 15-strong Finance function, led by our CFO, working with a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses to large international organisations and high-net-worth individuals.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in credit control, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Skills: Proactive, confident in challenging when necessary, with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with SideTrade would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Qualifications: CICM qualification desirable but not required.
