Overview

The Social Media Executive will join our central Marketing Team to create and publish eye-catching content across Blenheim brands, including Blenheim Palace, Blenheim Estate Homes, and Pye Homes. You’ll bring fresh ideas, strong organisational skills, and manage day-to-day social activity, monitor performance, report results, and adapt strategies to boost awareness, engagement, and commercial impact. A proven social media track record and enthusiasm to hit the ground running will help you make a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence across our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with each brand team to formulate strategies and campaigns to build a memorable social connection with consumers and businesses, with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Build content timelines per business area in collaboration with brand teams to understand what is happening across the business.
  • Film, edit and deliver content on-site as needed.
  • Ideate, generate, edit and publish daily content across a variety of channels.
  • Track and report social performance to provide actionable insights and continual improvements; stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and technologies.
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback, comments and social media posts.
  • Collaborate with senior management, external agencies and partners to build stakeholder relationships.
  • Crisis communication support when rare, which may include after-hours work or attending events out of hours.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create posts that are likeable and shareable.
  • Experience with using iPhone/Android and filming equipment (microphones, lighting, gimbals, etc.).
  • Ability to own production and delivery of content and collaborate with the wider marketing team, designers, photographers and copywriters to ensure posts are on target and on brand.
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting (incl. GA4), scheduling (e.g., Later), editing (incl. Adobe suite), project management (e.g., Monday), social listening (e.g., Brandwatch) and design (incl. Canva).
  • Performance-focused and analytical, with KPI-driven mindset.
  • Teamwork and time management.
