Blenheim Veterinary Centre is looking for a Director of Practice to join the team. In this role, you'll create and deliver the strategic direction of the practice, ensuring high standards across operations, client experience and business performance. This is an exciting opportunity to shape culture, drive results and support the continued success of a well‑established practice.

We are a busy, well‑established small animal practice supported by a strong and experienced team of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 6 Receptionists. We enjoy a diverse and interesting caseload, alongside a rewarding partnership with Cats Protection. With a long‑standing and loyal client base, we pride ourselves on delivering consistent, high‑quality care while building lasting relationships with our clients and their pets. Our practice is spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with ample parking for both clients and colleagues. Facilities include five consultation rooms, an in‑house laboratory, operating theatre, separate kennels, cattery and isolation wards, together with digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray and ultrasound, allowing us to provide a high standard of care on site.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As Director of Practice, you will have overall responsibility for the operational, commercial and people performance of the practice, working closely with clinical leadership to deliver outstanding patient and client care. You’ll set and deliver the strategic direction of the practice, lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure high standards across operations, client experience and business performance. This role plays a key part in shaping culture, driving results and supporting sustainable growth.

Working Pattern

40 hours per week Monday – Friday

  • Lead the day‑to‑day operational management of the practice, reporting to the Area Director
  • Oversee people management, financial performance and local marketing activity
  • Drive sustainable growth through financial planning, forecasting and operational excellence
  • Support and develop colleagues, creating a positive and high‑performing culture
  • Work closely with clinical leaders to deliver outstanding patient and client care
