As an After School Club Assistant, you'll help deliver high-quality wraparound care, ensuring every child feels safe, supported and encouraged to take part in a range of exciting activities. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll help create positive experiences that support children's wellbeing, independence and social development while maintaining the highest standards of care and safeguarding. Welcoming and supervising pupils at the end of the school day. Supporting a variety of fun, creative and age-appropriate activities. Encouraging positive behaviour, inclusion and friendship-building. Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and confidence. Keeping attendance records and following collection procedures. Assisting with the set-up and tidy-up of club areas and resources. A genuine passion for working with children. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. An understanding of the importance of safeguarding and child wellbeing. Experience working with children in a childcare or school setting with a NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or related qualification is desirable.
