The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teacher of Business Studies to join our fantastic team.

  • To deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Business Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, enabling students to achieve strong academic outcomes and develop a sound understanding of business concepts and real-world economic issues.
  • Teach Business Studies up to GCSE level, delivering engaging and relevant lessons.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning aligned with departmental schemes of work.
  • Inspire pupils to develop commercial awareness, critical thinking and enterprise skills.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities, such as enterprise clubs, competitions or trips.
  • Being aware of and complying with all school policies, including those relating to teaching and learning, and assessment.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • An ability to communicate effectively with parents, pupils and staff in a variety of ways.
  • A commitment to support the ethos of the school.
  • An ability to cope with a busy working day and a varied programme of teaching.
  • A clear understanding of how to engage with school data.
