Hendon Preparatory School is seeking a reliable and professional Home‐to‐School Driver to support our daily pupil transport service. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting pupils to and from school during term time, ensuring a punctual, friendly, and high‐quality service while adhering to all legal, safety, and school requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Driving school buses for home‐to‐school journeys
  • Ensuring pupil safety and wellbeing at all times
  • Completing daily vehicle checks, timesheets, and transport paperwork
  • Following agreed routes, schedules, and school policies
  • Reporting any vehicle defects, safety concerns, or incidents promptly
  • Acting as a positive and courteous ambassador for the school

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Be aged 21 or over with a full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years)
  • Hold a valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
  • Be reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Communicate well with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Be flexible and able to work split shifts

Experience transporting children or driving passenger‐carrying vehicles is desirable but not essential.
