Role Purpose
Hydesville Tower School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Computer Science to join our Senior School on a maternity cover basis (three days per week). To provide effective and high-quality classroom teaching to GCSE and ensure all pupils reach their potential through effective monitoring, assessment and target setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring strong academic progress and fostering a genuine interest in the subject. The successful candidate will also contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of this vibrant school community.
About the Role
- Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, assess and monitor pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes
- Contribute to departmental development and enrichment opportunities
- Undertake Form Tutor responsibilities

To provide stimulating, well-planned lessons across the age and academic range within the Senior School. To ensure high standards of attainment and progress. To perform other duties consistent with the post as directed by the Headteacher or Head of Senior School.
