There may be times you are required to support with an evening event, but more often than not you will be home in time for tea. As a Kitchen Assistant at Blenheim Palace, you’ll be at the heart of our culinary operation, helping to prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes that delight our visitors. This hands-on role offers the chance to rotate through different sections of the kitchen, gaining valuable experience while ensuring our food meets the highest standards of taste, quality, and safety. From managing stock and assisting with food prep to maintaining impeccable hygiene and supporting the wider team, your contribution will be essential to our success. What we are looking for:

  • Level 1 Food Safety Awards Desirable
  • Awareness of manual handling techniques
  • Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety
  • Experience of kitchen equipment, such as knives
