Responsibilities

  • The role offers exposure across the full development lifecycle, supporting financial appraisals, viability assessments, and due diligence on new land opportunities.
  • Coordinating technical, legal, and commercial inputs.
  • Assisting with planning applications and development strategies.
  • Helping manage planning programmes, milestones, and project risks.
  • Working closely with Technical, Commercial, and Sales teams to support the transition from planning through to pre‑construction, ensuring projects are well coordinated and delivered efficiently.

Qualifications

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Real Estate, Planning, Property Development, Land Management, Geography, or a related discipline.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships across all levels.
  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to weigh up opportunities, spot risks, and reach a clear view.
  • Organised and able to juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the detail.
  • Commercial curiosity and a genuine interest in how residential development works, from land through planning into delivery.
  • A proactive, can‑do attitude and a real appetite to learn, take on responsibility, and grow with the business.
  • Resilience and adaptability, comfortable working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
  • A collaborative approach, working seamlessly with colleagues across technical, commercial, and delivery teams.
  • A placement year, internship, or other work experience in property, planning, real estate, or construction.
