What You’ll Do

Demand Generation Strategy
At the core of this role is developing and executing demand generation strategies for our clients. You’ll analyse performance data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable plans that drive measurable results. This work spans three interconnected areas:

  • Create Demand
Building awareness and generating interest before buyers actively search.
    • Advise on brand positioning, messaging hierarchies, and thought leadership approaches
    • Develop content marketing strategies that position clients as category leaders
    • Lead LinkedIn Ad campaign strategy and creative ideation. Shape organic social distribution strategies that amplify reach and engagement
    • Partner with creative teams to ensure content aligns with strategic intent
  • Capture Demand
Engaging buyers who are actively researching solutions.
    • Lead website strategy projects – from kick-off through to handover
    • Develop conversion-driven information architecture and user journeys
    • Conduct keyword research to inform SEO and AEO targeting at page level
    • Shape paid media strategies and advise on campaign architecture
    • Review design and content outputs to ensure strategic alignment
  • Convert Demand
Turning engaged prospects into pipeline and revenue.
    • Advise on marketing automation architecture and lead nurturing workflows
    • Support sales enablement strategy and content planning
    • Support CRM configuration to ensure data structures support growth
    • Identify conversion triggers and optimisation opportunities across the funnel

Retained Client Support
For our retainer clients, you’ll provide ongoing strategic value:

  • Conduct UX, content, SEO, and CRM audits with actionable recommendations
  • Analyse performance data to surface insights and inform strategic direction
  • Deliver hands-on work: keyword plans, conversion optimisation, workflow setup
  • Provide ad hoc HubSpot guidance and best practice recommendations

How You’ll Think and Work
Beyond technical skills, we’re looking for a particular way of operating. These behaviours reflect our values and what success looks like in this role.

  • Strategic Judgement
You connect individual tasks to larger business outcomes – you see the system, not the parts in isolation. You translate ambiguous client needs into clear, actionable recommendations. You challenge assumptions constructively when the evidence points elsewhere. You balance data-driven thinking with creative intuition.
  • Analytical Rigour
You’re comfortable digging into data to find the story beneath the numbers. You translate complex datasets into clear insights that inform strategy. You know which metrics matter and can distinguish signal from noise.
  • Creative Taste
You can evaluate design and content work against strategic intent – beyond aesthetic preference. You imagine how campaigns and experiences will land before they’re built. You bring ideas that are both commercially sound and creatively interesting.
  • Empathy
You read client dynamics and navigate tricky conversations with care. You build trust quickly through genuine curiosity and attentive listening. You know when to push and when to step back. You take responsibility for outcomes – even those beyond your direct control.
  • AI Fluency
You’re skilled at prompting – asking better questions of both AI systems and humans to extract useful insights. You practice data sensemaking – interpreting AI outputs and contextualising them for strategic decisions. You embrace augmentation – automating routine tasks and configuring AI projects to elevate the quality of your work. You adapt quickly – experimenting with new tools and approaches as the landscape shifts.

What You Bring

  • Background in UX, CRO, content strategy, or digital marketing with website planning experience
  • HubSpot technical understanding across CRM, CMS (Content Hub), and Hub configurations – or the appetite to develop this in-house
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to extract insights from marketing and web analytics
  • Track record leading client presentations and workshops for non-technical audiences
  • Proven experience applying AI and automation to enhance workflows or digital performance
  • Comfortable navigating SEO/AEO tools (Ahrefs, GA4, Search Console), HubSpot platform capabilities, paid media (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), and AI tools

Desirable

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or related field
  • HubSpot certifications (Implementation, Revenue Operations, Platform Consulting)
  • Agency experience with budget awareness, time tracking, and multi-project delivery
