As a result of significant business growth, Blendini Motorsport / Car Chase Heroes are looking for additional experienced, organised and highly self-motivated Vehicle Master Technician to join our workshop team based in Llandow, Near Cowbridge. We are the UK's leading and fastest-growing supercar, movie car and classic car driving experience company, as well as an established Welsh motorsport team. We specialise in running events all over the country, taking our extensive fleet of cars and providing driving experiences to the public that wouldn't ordinarily get a chance to drive these kinds of cars. You should have a track record of performance mechanical and diagnostic experience. You will be repairing and modifying vehicle components as well as replacing them. The ideal candidate will have experience in this field and will have the ability to work towards tight deadlines and targets. We are looking for passionate, reliable, enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced professionals who will be working on our fleet of prestige vehicles. We own a fantastic range of vehicles and need team members that are willing to give their all to better themselves and the company.
Key responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Carry out diagnosis, repairs, maintenance and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
- Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises.
- Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
- Liaise with partners and suppliers to attain suitable parts at reasonable prices and especially, delivered on time.
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
- Work with / support workshop colleagues and line managers to ensure everything is done on time, be a team player!
- Assist with car loading and unloading during event periods.
Key requirements:
- Experience working on gearboxes, engines, etc.
- Experience of working in a fast paced and demanding environment, with a flexible approach towards meeting the needs of the business.
- You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
- A high sense of urgency, accountability and the ability to multitask.
- Full UK driving licence (Aged 25 and over for insurance requirements).
Preferred but not essential:
- Experience in Performance / Race car engineering.
- Engineering/ mechanical background.
- Experience within motorsport.
- Class 1 HGV licence.
