This is a permanent, full-time, daytime position working Monday to Friday, offering a salary ranging from £95,000.00 to £105,000.00 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, plus a car allowance and a bonus.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for acting as the senior operational and commercial owner for a key client account at cluster level, providing end-to-end leadership, governance and assurance across multiple distribution centres.
- Accountable for translating strategic objectives into consistent operational delivery, ensuring performance control, effective risk management and strong client confidence across the network.
- Acting as the primary interface between Site Managers, the Cluster Director and senior stakeholders, providing a clear, data-driven view of account performance while driving alignment across sites and ensuring consistent execution of the operating model.
Account Ownership & Governance
- Own overall operational performance, stability, and delivery across the cluster.
- Ensure consistent execution of operating models, standards, and commitments across all sites.
- Provide clear, data-driven insight into performance, risks, and recovery actions.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key escalation and leadership interface for senior stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships through transparency, control, and delivery.
- Provide regular updates on performance, risks, and opportunities.
Operational Performance
- Drive performance across safety, service, productivity, cost, quality, and inventory.
- Challenge site performance and ensure effective recovery plans are in place.
- Align capacity, labour, systems, and infrastructure with business needs.
Risk & Assurance
- Identify and manage operational and commercial risks proactively.
- Ensure issues are resolved at root cause, not just locally.
- Provide assurance on operational stability and control.
Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop Site Managers.
- Drive consistency, accountability, and collaboration across sites.
- Build capability and succession within the leadership team.
Strategy & Change
- Translate strategy into clear, executable plans.
