This is a permanent, full-time, daytime role working Monday to Friday and offers a salary up to £50,000.00 per annum. It follows a hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days working from home each week.
Responsibilities
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for partnering with Distribution Centre Managers to ensure effective management of P&L and balance sheets across assigned sites.
- Manage site P&L and balance sheet
- Produce weekly management accounts by clients
- Partner with Site Manager and Operations Manager
- Use data to improve financial and operational performance
- Work with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely billing
- Deliver insightful client reporting
- Support onboarding of new clients into Bleckmann
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Foster a positive team environment through communication and feedback
Profile / Qualifications
- Strong analytical approach to problem-solving
- Detail-focused with high accuracy standards
- Experience in logistics and/or automation is essential
- Enjoys tackling challenges and complex tasks
- Structured and methodical work style
- Clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in Excel, including data manipulation
- Commercially astute with sound business judgment
- Fully or partially qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
