Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the UK Accounting Manager with accurate financial reporting and compliance across 4 UK entities.
  • Support month end close and preparation of management accounts.
  • Prepare and post journals including prepayments, depreciation, payroll, and accruals.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and fixed asset registers.
  • Assist with VAT returns, statutory audits, and tax calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC, ONS, and internal controls.
  • Support finance projects and provide assistance to AP/AR.

Profile

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Clear communicator with good stakeholder skills.
  • AAT Level 4 or part qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
  • Previous experience in finance or audit.

This is a permanent, full-time, daytime role working Monday to Friday and offers a salary up to £50,000.00 per annum. It follows a hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days working from home each week.
