This is a permanent, full‑time, daytime role working Monday to Friday, offering a competitive salary, depending on skills and experience. It is a hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days working from home each week.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsible for partnering with Distribution Centre Managers to ensure effective management of P&L and Balance Sheets across assigned sites.
- Manage site P&L and balance sheet.
- Produce weekly management accounts by client.
- Partner with Site Manager and Operations Manager.
- Use data to improve financial and operational performance.
- Work with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Deliver insightful client reporting.
- Support onboarding of new clients into Bleckmann.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive team environment through communication and feedback.
Profile:
- Strong analytical approach to problem‑solving.
- Detail‑focused with high accuracy standards.
- Enjoys tackling challenges and complex tasks.
- Structured and methodical work style.
- Clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in Excel, including data manipulation.
- Commercially astute with sound business judgment.
- Fully or partially qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
