This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:00 - 16:00, with flexibility required during peak periods. The role offers an annual salary between £48,000.00 - £51,000.00, depending on skills and experience.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading flow through the distribution centre, managing first-line client relations, planning resources cost-effectively, and fostering a safe, development-focused team culture.
  • Lead stock flow operations through the distribution centre, ensuring safety and alignment with client expectations.
  • Manage first-line client relationships with clear communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Plan labour and resources efficiently to meet and exceed budget targets.
  • Promote a safe, positive working environment and support team development.
  • Ensure shift managers are equipped to lead people and processes effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lead health & safety initiatives.
  • Support absence, conduct, and performance management in line with company policies.
  • Deputise for the Site Manager and lead ad hoc projects as required.
