Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading flow through the distribution centre, managing first‑line client relations, planning resources cost‑effectively, and fostering a safe, development‑focused team culture.
- Lead stock flow operations through the distribution centre, ensuring safety and alignment with client expectations.
- Manage first‑line client relationships with clear communication and timely issue resolution.
- Plan labour and resources efficiently to meet and exceed budget targets.
- Promote a safe, positive working environment and support team development.
- Ensure shift managers are equipped to lead people and processes effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement and lead health & safety initiatives.
- Support absence, conduct, and performance management in line with company policies.
- Deputise for the Site Manager and lead ad hoc projects as required.
