This is a permanent, full-time daytime role, working Monday to Friday, and offers a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting operational performance through the identification, development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leads local Continuous Improvement activities, drives the application of improvement methodologies and supports operational teams in delivering sustainable efficiency, quality and performance improvements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and business impact.
  • Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across the operational area.
  • Identify and analyse improvement opportunities using operational data and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support operational teams in implementing sustainable improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of improvement actions.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Continuous Improvement Specialists.
  • Ensure consistent application of Continuous Improvement methodologies and standards.
  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders to align improvement activities with business needs.
  • Provide regular updates on Continuous Improvement activities, progress and outcomes.

Leadership: Leads and develops a team of CI Specialists by setting clear direction, coaching team members and ensuring consistent delivery of improvement activities within the operational area.

Solving: Analyses operational issues using multiple sources of information, identifies root causes and supports the implementation of effective, practical solutions within the local context.

  • Continuous

Improvement: Applies standard improvement methodologies and tools to drive consistent and structured performance improvements, ensuring alignment with centrally defined approaches and local operational needs.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Continuous Improvement within an operational environment (Lean, Six Sigma or similar).
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into practical improvements.
  • Good understanding of warehouse, logistics or operational processes.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Pragmatic, results-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
