Bleckmann is seeking a full‑time Finance Assistant to support the finance function and deliver all key accountabilities.
Responsibilities
- Processing and checking purchase invoices in the invoicing system (Easy Systems & SAP), including GL coding and chasing for approvals.
- Downloading invoices and statements from portals and sending them to the central invoice team.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Managing a central inbox to respond to any queries.
- Producing weekly and monthly client invoices with all relevant supporting documentation.
- Preparing weekly revenue reports by site.
- Tracking and reconciling company credit card transactions.
- Monitoring the expenses process, consolidating each month and sending the information to payroll.
- Monthly PAYE preparation.
- Credit control: monitoring customers’ account balances, reviewing the aged receivables report, and chasing/escalating where necessary.
- Any additional responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (e.g., Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant).
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as SAP (desirable).
- Strong Excel and data handling skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
