This is a permanent, full‑time role, working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 14:00 – 22:00 with flexibility required during peak periods. The role offers an annual salary up to £27,788.00, depending on skills and experience, plus a shift allowance of £1,326.00.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for managing an assigned floor or area within the warehouse, including operational processes, people, and client relationships, while proactively planning labour, equipment, and activities, and fostering a culture of safety and team development.
- Manage staff and workflow in a designated area.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Support team development through coaching and feedback.
- Assist with performance and disciplinary processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and support ad hoc projects.
Profile
- Leadership experience, preferably in logistics, retail, or e‑commerce.
- Experienced in managing teams.
- Flexible to work various shifts based on operational needs.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
