Tasks and responsibilities:

  • A great communicator with a people-first mindset and the capability to lead, engage, and develop teams.
  • Proven experience in warehousing and stock management; experience in e-commerce is an advantage.
  • Experience working with WMS and related systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Client-focused approach.
  • Passionate about Health and Safety, with the knowledge to set and lead the Health and Safety agenda.

Profile:

  • Manage the Inventory Team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of stock levels within the DC, through activities such as cycle counting, stock interrogation, and problem resolution.
  • Ensure that systems and mechanisms used are accurate for recording, monitoring, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Review data and use it to advise and support the BI and Stock Control Manager on strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory database with detailed stock information.
  • Work closely with operations to organize the efficient flow of stock through the DC.
  • Investigate discrepancies to resolution and ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent future issues or escalate as needed.
  • Make necessary stock adjustments.
  • Support the Customer Services Team in responding to inquiries and complaints promptly.
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene and Health and Safety, managing breaches in line with company policy.
  • Meet high team KPIs to maximize profitability.
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients, ensuring Bleckmann remains their third-party logistics provider of choice.
  • Manage team issues positively, adhering to company policies on absence, performance, and misconduct.
  • Foster a positive working environment through regular communication, feedback, idea-sharing, skill development, and recognition of success.
