The Role We're looking for an experienced 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer to join our team in Leatherhead. This is a hands-on technical role covering complex escalations from our Tier 1 desk, alongside ownership of infrastructure projects and migrations for our client base. You'll be working directly with the Service Desk Manager and Operations Manager on Tier 3 escalations and leading technical delivery on project work. You'll own problems end-to-end and have genuine scope to shape how we deliver infrastructure and cloud services to our clients. Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Handle escalated Tier 2 and Tier 3 tickets from the helpdesk, owning resolution end-to-end • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 tenants including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID • Support and administer Azure infrastructure - virtual machines, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint • Assist in delivering migration and upgrade projects (e.g. Windows 11 rollouts, server replacements, tenant-to-tenant migrations) • Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP • Support networking infrastructure including VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, • Maintain and develop our RMM platform - alerting, scripting, automation, patching • Contribute to documentation in our knowledge base and produce client-facing runbooks
